On December 12th (local time), Netflix announced a live-action adaptation of the Japanese anime ” My Hero Academia ” (Hiroaka ).
The director and executive producer are Shinsuke Sato, who wrote and directed ” Kingdom ” and directed the Netflix drama ” Alice in the Land of the Boundary, “and the script is Joby Harold of the Disney+ drama “Obi-Wan Kenobi.” Mr. Toho will distribute the movie in Japan.
My Hero Academia is an anime series based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi. In a world where 80% of the population can use supernatural powers (personalities), it depicts the growth of Izuku Midoriya, a boy who longs to be a hero who fights enemies (villains).
The anime has been broadcasting for six seasons since 2016. However, casting has yet to be announced.
