by Just like in old times, Naruto and Sasuke are teaming up to fight a common enemy. Boruto: Naruto’s next generation episode 216 just got released, and fans got a glimpse of Naruto’s strongest form yet, which is called Baryon Mode.
In case you are not up to date, here is a short summary of what is happening in Boruto anime. Naruto, Sasuke, and Boruto are facing their strongest enemy called Isshiki Otsutsuki. He was sent here alongside Kaguya to extract chakra from this world using the Divine Tree. And as we already know that Kaguya betrayed him, and Isshiki had to hide to regain his powers back.
Now Isshiki is searching for Kawaki to use him for his plan, but Boruto knows what is up and he quickly teleports Isshiki to another dimension along with Naruto and Sasuke. That is where the fight starts, but Isshiki is too powerful for Sasuke and Naruto, as they get badly hurt.
Revealing the Baryon Mode
Things are looking bad for Naruto at this point. We get a conversation between Kurama and Naruto, as Kurama asks him that how is he planning to fight Isshiki because he is too powerful and that Naruto will die fighting him. Naruto replies that he was always prepared for dying even before he became Hokage, and he just wants to protect Konoha.
Kurama then tells Naruto that there might be a way to defeat Isshiki but if Naruto uses this form, he will die. In the final moments of the episode, we see Naruto attacking Isshiki with the Baryon Mode.
In the next episode, the fight is really going to get more interesting. Animation and soundtrack for the new Naruto form reveal were also up to the mark. Also, episode 217 will be fully animated by Studio Pierrot, so you can expect top-notch animation quality.
