The ‘K-Pop Cover Dance Festival in Indonesia,’ a festival for Hallyu fans worldwide, was held at 1 pm (local time) on the 11th.

The event was hosted by the Korean Cultural Center in Indonesia (President Kim Yong-woon) and the Seoul newspaper. It was sponsored by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the Korea Entertainment Producers Association, the Korea Music Performers Association, the Seoul Tourism Foundation, New Era, All-K-Pop, and Pentacle, and Blockberry Entertainment provided unique cooperation.

The ‘K-Pop Cover Dance Festival in Indonesia’, which was prepared for many Indonesian Hallyu fans suffering from the Corona crisis, has steadily increased in some participants every year, and the skill of each team is improving significantly as the years go by.

Kim Yong-Woon, director of the Korean Cultural Center in Indonesia, said, “It is a bit unfortunate that the event will be held non-face-to-face due to the corona crisis, but we hope that we can all overcome this situation quickly.” It is at the center of publicizing and enjoying it.”

While the group dance continued, LOUEVA, a 10-member female group that covered ‘Panorama’ of the global popular idol group IZone, won the championship. Not only did the members shed tears of emotion at the announcement of the winning team, but they also shared a time of joy with the participants by jumping behind the screen to express their emotions.

Rishka Avia, the team leader, made up of members in their 20s from early 20s to late 20s, said, “All members are of different ages and occupations, and the reasons and timings for enjoying K-pop are also different. I had fun and practiced hard. We will do our best to become a team that grows even more than we are now.”

Meanwhile, the ‘2021 K-Pop Cover Dance Festival’, which marks its 11th anniversary this year, is the world’s first and largest K-pop online and offline Hallyu fan communication program. It is being evaluated as a K-Pop campaign that aims to contribute to the continuous spread of Hallyu culture and communicate and empathize with Hallyu fans. The winning teams from each country will be invited to the finals of the World Finals and enjoy a stage of hot exchange with multinational K-pop fans.
