In Flames Gintama: The New Movie – Yoshiwara in Flames is an entirely new animated film adaptation of the Yoshiwara Inflammation Arc, the most passionate and famous episode in the original work’s history. The story follows Gintoki, Shinpachi, Kagura, and the other members of the Yorozuya family as they enter Yoshiwara, an underground red-light district ruled by the “King of the Night,” and bereft of light.
The recently released trailer also features Katsura, Gintoki’s former ally and anti-foreigner patriot, as well as Kondo, Hijikata, Okita, and Yamazaki, members of the Shinsengumi, who did not appear in this episode in the original work, raising expectations for their exploits.
This entertaining blockbuster will feature spectacular action and passionate drama, along with new episodes, presented in CinemaScope on the big screen. With just 100 days until the release date, today, November 5, it was announced that the first round of movie ticket cards will be available exclusively at screening theaters starting November 14.
