Natsumi Fujiwara will play Emi Okabe, and Ayumi Tsunematsu will play Keiko Ibuki in the TV anime “One Hundred Views of Awashima,” based on Takako Shimura’s original work. The third character visual, “Emi Okabe and Keiko Ibuki,” has also been released.
Others are becoming isolated. Okabe enrolls as a scholarship student, attracting attention but struggling with harassment from Keiko and others, becoming isolated. Keiko, an elite third-generation Awashima native, is jealous of Okabe’s talent. Fujiwara commented on Okabe, “The character has many different emotions, so it was sometimes difficult to play him, but I was thrilled to be able to play him and be involved in this production.” Tsunematsu also commented on his feelings toward Keiko, saying, “I can’t approve of her actions, but I couldn’t deny everything either.”
“One Hundred Views of Awashima” will begin airing in April 2026. Set at Awashima Opera School, the series follows young girls who dream of performing on stage, including Wakana, a new student who enrolled in hopes of becoming a musical star. Comment from Fujiwara Natsumi (role of Okabe Emi): Among the many characters who appear, Okabe Emi is also a character with many different feelings, so it was sometimes difficult to play her, but I was thrilled to be able to play her and be involved in this production. I hope you enjoy watching the anime. Comment from Tsunematsu Ayumi (role of Ibuki Keiko): Keiko just wanted to be loved, and just wanted to pursue her dreams. I cannot approve of the actions she took. But I could not deny everything either.
The hurt, longing, jealousy, and regret that lie in Keiko’s heart. I approached the dubbing with the feeling of carefully weaving together the threads of delicate emotions. Please look forward to “One Hundred Views of Awashima.” TV anime “One Hundred Views of Awashima” will begin airing in April 2026.
