This anime is based on the popular manga by Uo Yutaka, which has been serialized in Weekly Big Comic Spirits (Shogakukan) since 2020. Set in 15th century Europe, when the “geocentric theory” was believed to be the truth of the world and even studying or believing anything that overturned that theory was considered a serious crime, the story depicts the people who risked their beliefs and their lives to believe in and prove the possibility of the “heliocentric theory.”
