by It has been decided that the new series of the anime “Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt” (Panty Stocking), “New PANTY & STOCKING with Garterbelt,” will be broadcast and streamed on TOKYO MX, BS Nippon Television, and other networks from July 9th. This will be the first new series in about 15 years since the final episode aired in December 2010.
The censored version will be broadcast on terrestrial TV, while the original version will be available on AT-X. Both versions will also be accessible on various distribution sites.
The key visual and main PV have also been released. On AT-X, it has been decided that all previous works will be rebroadcast on July 6th, immediately preceding the broadcast of the new works.
“Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt” is an anime produced by GAINAX that aired from October to December 2010. Strange incidents strike Daten City every day. They are the work of ghosts that exploit people’s desires.
Two angels, Panty and Stocking, sent from heaven, set out to exterminate the ghosts… but in fact, they are both bad-tempered dropouts!? This is the story of two sister angels who bring disaster after disaster to Daten City, where dark clouds are swirling.
