The original TV anime “White Sand Aquatope” is an original anime work that was broadcast in two consecutive seasons in 2021, and the work series “Hana Saku” presented by PAWORKS Developed as the fourth installment following “Iroha,” “SHIROBAKO” and “Sakura Quest.” As part of the media adaptation, the advanced distribution of the comic version started in “Manga Kingdom” at the same time as the anime broadcast. Bushiroad Creative released the book the following year.

Kukuru Misakino, an 18-year-old high school girl who works at Gamagama Aquarium, a small aquarium in Okinawa, meets Fuka Miyazawa, a former idol who lost her place in Tokyo and fled to Okinawa. Fuuka and Kukuru decide to work at an aquarium during the summer vacation. Kukuru and Fuuka spend their days at the aquarium with their thoughts in their hearts.
However, the critical aquarium is in danger of closing. This official comic adaptation of the animation depicts girls’ dreams and realities, loneliness and companionship, and bonds and conflicts.
