“Gachiakuta” is an anime adaptation of the popular manga currently being serialized in “Weekly Shonen Magazine” (Kodansha), written by Uranai Kei and with graffiti design by Ando Hideyoshi.
The story follows the battle action of Rudo (voiced by Ichikawa Ao), an orphan boy born in a slum where the descendants of criminals live, as he crawls out of the “abyss” into which he was cast for a crime he did not commit. The second season of the anime began airing in October.
Episode 18: “It’s Crazy!”
After being swept away by the garbage, Ryo is fighting the vandal Nerude. Nerude is a formidable opponent who uses hair as a weapon, using a comb-like human organ called “Mirei.” Ryo tries to cut Nerude’s hair with scissors, but Nerude manipulates his hair freely to dodge the scissors’ blades and launches a fierce attack using his hair and martial arts. Ryo is gradually cornered and attempts to fight back using forbidden means.
