“Sergeant Keroro” is a comedy series written by Mine Yoshizaki and serialized in Monthly Shonen Ace (KADOKAWA). It depicts the chaos caused by a frog-like alien who visits Earth. A television anime series aired for seven years from 2004, and the series has been adapted into a wide range of media, including five animated feature films.
The official YouTube channel, launched in April 2021, has surpassed 250,000 subscribers as of June 2025. 2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the original manga’s serialization and the 20th anniversary of the anime’s first broadcast.
The scriptwriter and general director of this work is Yuichi Fukuda, known for the TV drama series “Yusha Yoshihiko” and the film series ” Gintama .” The director is Fumitoshi Ozaki, character design is by Satoshi Koike, and BN Pictures handles animation production.
