The production of the original TV animation “Opus.COLORs”, produced by the staff who worked on “Star-Mu “, has been decided. The outline of the work and the teaser visual has been released—scheduled to be broadcast in 2023.
This work will be done by a pair of “artist” who draws the work in digital space using unique painting materials and a “grader” who is the producer who decides the concept and theme of the work and orders it from the artist. Draw the story of boys who spend their youth on “concept art”. Kazuya Tsukimi, whose parents are the creators of Perception Art, enrolled in the prestigious Ei Akane High School in the art field with his childhood friend Jun Tsuzuki and the dream of becoming a Perception artist. He tries to regain his friendship with another childhood friend, Hibiki Tagise, who has become estranged in the wake of a particular incident.
The setting of the three main characters is also released. After the accident, ten years before his parents died, Kazuya woke up to an extrasensory sense of being able to read the thoughts of the creator and the situation at the time of drawing, which was once aimed at an artist, but the accident Hibiki, who aspired to be a grader and began to keep a distance from Kazuya and others, and Jun, who sincerely hopes that the three of them can play again while watching the relationship between Kazuya and Hibiki, and their profiles are revealed.
In the teaser visual, Kazuya and Hibiki, surrounded by colourful flowers, butterflies, and jewels, face each other across the frame. It symbolically depicts how each other’s thoughts pass each other.
