by On the 21st, Bandai Namco Filmworks released new information about the latest original animation, “Maebashi Witches,” from its “Sunrise Studio,” including broadcast information, key visuals, and the official PV. It was revealed that the show will begin broadcasting on TOKYO MX, BS11, and other stations on Sunday, April 6.
This work is a coming-of-age story about five high school students set in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture. It depicts the drama of girls who aim to become witches and face various worries. It was decided to produce it last summer and broadcast it in April 2025.
In the work, “songs” filled with magic are an essential element, and the unit “Maebashi Witches,” which consists of five prominent cast members, will sing many of the songs in the play, as well as the OP (opening) and ED (ending) songs.
This time, a horizontal key visual has been released before the broadcast. The visual is based on the theme of “song,” an essential theme of the work, and features a singing and dancing Witch-like visual set against the backdrop of the Witchverse (magical space). In addition, the first volume of the Blu-ray (a total of six volumes) will be released on May 28, and special bonuses and corporate purchase bonuses have also been announced.
