“Hell Teacher Nube” is a new anime adaptation based on the occult hero action manga by Sho Makura and Tsuyoshi Okano, which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1993 to 1999 and boasts a total circulation of 29 million copies. While thrilling readers with stories based on school ghost stories and urban legends, the heroic figure of psychic teacher Meisuke Nueno, also known as “Nube,” who risks his life to protect his students from the threat of monsters and evil spirits, has earned him popularity across generations.
It was adapted into a TV anime series from 1996 to 1997, as well as a feature film and an original animation video (OVA). A 2014 TV drama starring Ryuhei Maruyama was also released. Episode 11, “The Demon Hand vs. the Fire Tail Technique,” synopsis: Tamamo reappears in Domori Town.
