“Oshi no Ko” is a TV anime based on manga that depicts the entertainment world from an entirely new perspective. It was created by Akasaka Aka and Yokoyari Mengo.
This luxurious team has been serialized in “Weekly Young Jump” and has exceeded 18 million copies in circulation. One day, Goro, an obstetrician-gynecologist working in a provincial city, has a “worst” encounter with Ai, an idol of his “Yoshi” who harbors a forbidden secret, and his fate begins to move—the first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023, creating a boom.
The second season, which depicts the story of Aqua, Kana Arima, and Akane Kurokawa, confirmed to appear in the 2.5-dimensional stage play “Tokyo Blade” within the work, has been airing since July 2024. The decision to produce the third season was announced after the first episode of the second season’s final episode was aired on October 6th.
In the teaser video, famous scenes of each character from the second season are played back to the tune of B-Komachi’s new song “POP IN 2”, and at the end, a visual announcing the production of the third season is shown, with a black shining star lit up in Ruby’s eyes after learning of Goro’s death. Let’s look forward to the third season to see where Aqua and Ruby’s revenge will lead.
It was also revealed that the mysterious character who appeared as a man with sunglasses in the second season’s final episode is “Kamiki Hikaru,” and the mysterious silver-haired girl who appeared as a girl is “Tsukuyomi.” Miyano Mamoru plays Kamiki Hikaru, and Kino Hina plays Tsukuyomi. Miyano and Kino also provided comments. In addition, the primary video MV scene of B-Komachi’s new song “POP IN 2”, released in the 24th episode of “Wish,” the final episode of the 2nd season, was also unveiled.
In the video, you can see B-Komachi dancing in a new costume made by Anemone, as well as the characters exuding a mysterious atmosphere different from usual in the scenery of Takachiho. In the choreography video, you can see the details of the choreography of the three people for the entire chorus, which you can’t see in the main video, so be sure to check it out.
The TV anime “Oshi no Ko” has been decided to be produced for the third season, so we can’t take our eyes off it. Miyano Mamoru (role of Kamiki Hikaru) I never thought I would be able to appear in “Oshi no Ko,” so I’m very honored. I want to cherish the world view of this work, which many people look forward to, and face the mysterious character “Kamiki Hikaru.” Kino Hina (role of Tsukuyomi): Thank you for watching the final episode! I am Kino Hina, who played Tsukuyomi.
There was a lot I didn’t know about her while acting, so it was difficult, but I tried to play the role while being conscious of the gap between her young appearance and the way she spoke. Various elements overlap and mix, making the story of “Oshi no Ko” more and more fascinating. Please look forward to future developments! TV anime “Oshi no Ko” 3rd season production confirmed!
