The synopsis and scene cuts for episode 9 of the anime “Hananoi-kun and the Love Sickness” have been released.

“Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai” is an anime based on the manga by Morino Moe, which is currently serialized in “Monthly Dessert” (Kodansha).

The story follows the first love story between a “girl who doesn’t understand love” and a “boy whose love is too intense,” which begins when Hisae Hotaru, a high school freshman who has never been particularly interested in romance, is publicly confessed to by Hananoi-kun, a handsome boy in the next class.

Episode 9 “First Birthday”
Next week is Hananoi-kun’s birthday. As it’s the best time to see the cherry blossoms, they decide to view them together, and Hotaru suggests making him a lunch box. Hananoi-kun is happy with that, but Hotaru worries about whether there is more she can do. However, the memorial service for his grandfather, which had been scheduled in advance, coincides with Hananoi-kun’s birthday.
