On the 22nd, the production committee for the TV anime “Tai Ari Deshita: Ojousama wa Kakutou Game Nante Shinai,” based on the original work,
includes Cammy, Ryu, Ken, and Juri (5 images total). The anime is based on the popular live-action drama that aired on NTT Docomo’s video streaming service “Lemino” in 2023.

The production committee explained, “After coordinating schedules with all parties involved, we have decided to change the broadcast start date.” They added, “We apologize for the wait for everyone looking forward to the broadcast, but all of our staff are working hard to deliver an even more compelling series.” In conjunction with the announcement of the change, new information regarding the collaboration with ” Street Fighter 6 ” was also released.

The characters that the four main characters of the anime will play in Street Fighter 6 have been decided: protagonist Aya Mizuki will play Cammy, Mio Yae will play Ryu, Yu Inui will play Ken, and Tamaki Ichinose will play Juri. In conjunction with this announcement, collaboration visuals, including an all-star version and individual character versions, have also been released.

The anime will also be exhibited at Tokyo Game Show 2025, to be held at Makuhari Messe from the 25th to the 28th. The exhibit will be a joint venture with Mad Catz, a game peripheral manufacturer collaborating on the anime’s production. The booth will feature Street Fighter 6 collaboration visuals, a recreation of Mio’s home, and a giant arcade stick.
