The anime “You Are the Underworld” will begin airing on Saturday, October 5. The second teaser PV and a preview cut have also been released.

“You are Meido-sama” is an action love comedy written by Shotan and serialized in Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry magazine in 2020. The total number of copies sold has exceeded 600,000, with eight volumes already published (ongoing). It is a heartwarming assassin love story between high school student Yokotani Hitoyoshi and his maid and assassin Yuki, who suddenly visits his home.

It has been decided that “You are the Underworld” will be broadcast on the “NUMAnimation” slot on 24 TV Asahi affiliates nationwide, BS Asahi, and AT-X from October 5, 2024. In addition, the second teaser PV and a preview cut of the work have been released.

The second teaser PV has just been released. It depicts the gap between the two faces of the former assassin-turned-maid Yuki (voiced by Ueda Reina) while delicately capturing her inner thoughts. At the beginning of the video, we see Yuki as an assassin wielding a blade with sharp eyes and dexterity. Still, she shows off her clumsy side when she starts working as a maid for high school student Hitoyoshi (voiced by Kumagai Toshiki).

Although she’s not good at regular cleaning, she excels at household chores where her assassination skills come in handy, such as slicing cabbage into thin strips. When Yuki starts living together with Hitoyoshi, the cute and fluffy Agemochi Taro, and her slightly meddlesome younger sister Riko, her frozen heart slowly thaws.

“I feel like someday I’ll understand why I feel this world is so warm,” says Yuki, who was previously ignorant of emotions, as her heart is shaken. The video makes viewers curious about the future relationship between Yuki and Hitoyoshi, who live together under the same roof. At the end of the video, Yuki’s excellent character falls apart as she tastes “Katsuta Sauce” for the first time. This is the story of a lonely maid who ends up with a family.
