The special exhibition “Record of Ragnarok” will be held at the Postal Museum from Saturday, October 4, 2025, to Sunday, December 14, 2025.
The manga is currently being serialized in Monthly Comic Zenon, illustrated by Ajichika, written by Umemura Shinya, and written by Fukui Takumi. It has sold over 18 million copies. The second season of the anime series was released worldwide on Netflix in January 2023, becoming an even bigger hit than the first season. The third season is scheduled to be released exclusively on Netflix in December 2025.
Once every 1000 years, all the gods of the world gather in heaven for the “Conference on the Survival of Humanity.” Just before the unanimous decision to “end the world” is made due to the foolish actions of humanity, Brunhilde, one of the half-god, half-human Valkyries, objects. “Simply destroying everything is no fun. Why not put humanity to the test?” She proposes the final battle between gods and humans, known as “Ragnarok.”
The gods of the world and representatives selected from all humanity throughout history will face off one-on-one. The first to win seven of 13 matches will be declared the winner. Can humanity surpass the gods and prevent the end of the world?
The upcoming special exhibition “Record of Ragnarok” is the first collaborative exhibition between the anime and the series, and will explore the backgrounds of the gods and historical figures who served as models for the characters in the series through images depicted on stamps from all over the world, past and present.
Furthermore, ahead of the release of the third season of the series, “Record of Ragnarok III,” which will begin streaming exclusively on Netflix in December 2025, anime production materials such as original drawings and character settings will be on display, and original goods featuring illustrations specially drawn for this exhibition will also be on sale.
