When An Shi straddles the frightened former emperor and asks, “Are you scared of me?” viewers on the internet were frightened and commented, “She’s attacking me!” and “It’s a curse…”
In episode 33, “The Former Emperor,” An-shi reminisces. The former emperor was not good with adult women and would only visit his young daughter.
At the time, An-shi, who looked young, captured the former emperor’s heart, and before long, they committed suicide by cutting his stomach and giving birth to a child. However, as An-shi grew up, the former emperor stopped coming to see her.
Anshi couldn’t bear to be forgotten by a pathetic man who could only have a young girl, so she went to see the former emperor. Astride the frightened former emperor, she asked, “Are you scared of me? Is it because I’ve become a grown woman? Or is it because of this scar on my stomach?” and showed him the scar from cutting his stomach, bringing his face closer.
