It has been announced that the TV anime “Ghost Concert: Missing Songs” will be produced and will air in 2026. Fujidera Yoshinori will play the main character, Aiba Seriha, while Hidaka Rina will play Cleopatra, who performs the first duet song with Seriha in the series.
The prominent staff members, teaser PV, and teaser visuals have also been released. The latest installment in the “Song Battle Series,” following “Senki Zesshō Symphogear,” is the anime version of the music project “GHOST CONCERT,” produced by Aria Entertainment and featuring all songs produced by Elements Garden.
The story revolves around music, set in a world in 2045 where singing is forbidden. Fujidera plays Seriha, a high school girl who could see and touch spirits since she was a child. Hidaka’s Cleopatra is one of the “Great Ghosts” released from the spirit world, and plays the role of an ancient Egyptian queen who possesses Seria.
Jimbo Masato will handle director, series composition, and scriptwriting for all episodes. Character design will be handled by Uikawa Masaaki (“Unnamed Memory”) (sub-character design), and music will be handled by Elements Garden, the original creator of the series. Animation production will be handled by ENGI (“Medalist”).
The teaser trailer debuts “RES∞NALIST,” one of the songs in the series “Possession Requiem,” a key element of the film, offering a glimpse into the story, which will be filled with character duets. The teaser visual depicts Cleopatra whispering to Seria from behind. An archive of the project presentation, featuring Fujidera, director Jinbo, original creator Noriyasu Agematsu (representative of Elements Garden), and others, is currently available on YouTube.
