You can be reassured that the personnel and cast of the film will not alter from those of the TV anime series if you are worried about any alterations in the adaptation.

Haruichi Furudate is the author and illustrator of the Haikyuu manga series, which ran for an astounding 45 volumes from February 2012 to July 2020. It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine. Produced by Production I.G., the anime version debuted in April 2014 and immediately became incredibly popular.

December 2020 marked the end of the anime series, which ran for four seasons, several OVAs, and a total of 85 episodes. This coincided precisely with the manga’s final chapter.
