“Blue Lock” is a TV anime based on the manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura. The manga is being serialized in Kodansha’s “Weekly Shonen Magazine” and has sold over 40 million copies worldwide since July 2024. The story depicts high school forwards gathered at “Blue Lock” as they compete in a knockout contest to become the world’s best striker, risking their soccer careers and goals.
The first season of the TV anime will be broadcast from October 2022 to March 2023, and the first movie version, “Blue Lock: Episode Nagi,” will be released in April 2024.
