A live-action version of “Cowboy Bebop” is scheduled to be exclusively distributed on Netflix in November. The opening video released the other day uses the theme song “Tank!”, Which is familiar from the original version, and expectations have risen for a video that reproduces the anime version as it is! I think many people say that.
There is no doubt that you can respect the original version, but some points are a little problematic. For example, the background characters in the opening video of the anime version are in English, while in the live-action version, they are changed to Japanese. This notation may seem incredible for overseas fans, but it feels a little strange (including the typeface).
However, the reproducibility of the characters appearing in the latter half of the video is relatively high, and you can see that this is also quite close to animation.
Mad Pierrot
In the anime version, Mad Pierrot appears in Session # 20, “Jester’s Requiem.” I have high expectations for this live-action version, which has the highest reproducibility and is scarier than the original version.
Teddy Bomber
Session # 22 Teddy Bomber, the bomb demon that appears in “Cowboy Funk.” The person inside appeared from the bear’s mouth in the anime version, but what happens in the live-action version? Also, I’m sure that the popular character Andy will appear now (I want you to come out).
Vicious
The protagonist Spike is a lifelong nemesis, Vicious. One of the superessential characters who first appeared in Session # 5, “Ballad of the Fallen Angels” in the anime version and appeared as the last nemesis in Session # 26, “The Real Folk Blues (Part 2)” which is the final episode. .. I would like to expect a splendid sword handling even in the live-action version. (Does the bird on the shoulder also appear?)
(Bonus) Punch & Judy
Maybe it won’t appear in the live-action version? These two people were whispered. Rest assured, Punch and Judy, who are familiar with the moderator of “BIG SHOT,” will also appear.
In the anime version, #Session 23 “Brain Scratch” has a low audience rating, so, unfortunately, this program will be discontinued, but will it be discontinued in the middle of the live-action version, or please hold on to the final episode I’m looking forward to this whereabouts.
The live-action version of “Cowboy Bebop” consists of 10 episodes and will be exclusively distributed on Netflix from November 19th.
