The short anime “Fist of the North Star: Requiem for the Fist-Oh Army’s Minions” (every Monday from 8:00 PM onwards, AT-X, etc.) will begin airing on Monday, January 5, 2026. The second promotional video for the series has now been released.

A comedy about minions dying everywhere, unrelated to the main characters’ serious battles, “Fist of the North Star” is a hard-boiled action film. Its spin-off, “Fist of the North Star: Requiem for the Fist-Oh Army’s Minions,” is a comedy full of gags, unrelated to the serious battles between the powerful characters featured in the main story. Living in a world devastated by nuclear war and dominated by violence, the minions of the Fist-Oh Army are needlessly violent, somehow cheerful, always smiling, and lose their lives in an instant.

There is nothing gruesome about their light-hearted approach to life and death. Among the strong lineup of titles scheduled to air in January 2026, including sequels to popular series and anime based on popular original works, this work stands out.

“Fist of the North Star: Requiem of the Fist-Oh Army’s Minions” Story: Employment… with the Fist-Oh Army. The year is 199X. In a world engulfed in nuclear flames, even survival is difficult. Meanwhile, the protagonist, Nobu, finds employment with none other than the Fist-Oh Army. With more deaths than applicants, how long can Nobu survive in this dangerous workplace? A diverse cast of minions, including a granny disguised as a hag, Cassandra’s Uyghur prison warden, and the Holy Emperor’s “Dirt Disinfectant,” appear one after another.

Second PV Released: Following the recent release of the first PV, which has garnered over 120,000 views, a more extended version of the second PV has been released, further conveying the work’s appeal and worldview. The second PV features dynamic visuals made possible by the video technology “Animatica,” which brings out the charm of each manga frame to the fullest.
