In episode 44, “The Fortress,” while Maomao and her friends are in a pinch, Consort Loulan, who had disappeared from the harem, appears and says, “This is a child’s prank… let’s go quickly, mother.” Maomao, upon hearing Consort Loulan’s voice, became convinced that she was Zicui (CV: Seto Masami).
