The story will be told from the 13th volume of the original light novel, and the protagonist Rudeus will experience new drama and adventures that will make him even more turbulent than ever before.
A teaser PV consisting of new footage was also released on YouTube. It depicts the peaceful days Rudeus spends with Sylphiette and Roxy, his daughter Lucy, born to Sylphy, his mother, and Zenith, as well as his sisters, Norn and Aisha, alongside fierce battles. The story also features the dragon god Orsted and introduces new characters.
“Mushoku Tensei” is a light novel written by Rifujin na Magonote, which began serialization on “Let’s Become a Novelist” in 2012. The story is about a 34-year-old unemployed man who dies but is reborn in a parallel world of swords and magic, where he utilizes the intelligence and regrets from his previous life to start anew.
This popular work is considered a pioneer of the “Narou” light novel genre and was published as a book by MF Books (KADOKAWA). It has also been adapted into a comic. The series has sold over 17 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2021, and the second season from October to December of the same year. The high-quality visuals produced by Studio Bind, an animation production company established for the series, also attracted attention. The first season of the second season aired from July to September 2023, and the second season from April to June 2024.
