“Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun” is a “heartwarming toilet comedy” based on the manga by Aida Iro. It is currently being serialized in the monthly “G Fantasy” and has sold over 10 million copies. The story depicts the occult girl Nene Yashiro, who loves spells and fortune-telling, being manipulated by the sadistic and slightly naughty ghost of a boy, Hanako-kun, and getting caught up in various ghost stories.
After the first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2020, an anime restart project was announced for the winter of 2022.
