It has been decided that the manga “Urusei Yatsura” (author: Rumiko Takahashi), which was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” (Shogakukan), will be made into a TV animation in 2022 in the late-night anime frame “Noitamina” of Fuji TV. This is the first TV anime broadcast in 36 years since March 1986.

This was announced in a full-page advertisement of the Sankei Shimbun dated January 1. On the paper, the heroine Ram-chan is drawn along with the lines of “Happy New Year” and “2022 TV animation! “Fuji TV” Noitamina “and other affiliated stations have announced.”

“Urusei Yatsura” is a romantic comedy based on the manga serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” from 1978 to 1987. It has also been made into a game and a theater animation, and TV animation was broadcast from 1981 to 1986.
