by The fifth episode of the latest Gundam anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX, “Nyan Doesn’t Know Sparkles,” will be broadcast on 30 Nippon Television affiliates at 12:29 a.m. today, the 6th.
“Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX” is the story of Amate Yuzuriha, a high school girl living peacefully in a space colony floating in space, who becomes embroiled in an illegal mobile suit dueling competition called “Clan Battle” after meeting a war refugee girl named Nyaan.
Amate, who goes by the entry name “Machu,” pilots the GQuuuuuuX and throws herself into fierce daily battles. Then, an unidentified mobile suit called Gundam, which is being pursued by both the space military and the police, and its pilot, a young boy named Shuuji, appear before her, and the world is on the brink of a new era.
This is a new Gundam series co-produced by Studio Khara, the studio behind the Evangelion series, and Sunrise, the studio behind the Gundam series.
The film is directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki, who directed the 2021 release of the ‘Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition’ series, with series composition by Yoji Enokido and mechanical design by Ikuto Yamashita, bringing together a star-studded team of staff. The main character’s voice, Amate Yuzuriha (Machu), is provided by Tomoyo Kurosawa, while Yui Ishikawa and Shuuji Ito play Nyaan, who Shimba Tsuchiya plays.
