While details are still shrouded in mystery, it has been revealed that new information will be announced at the Super Stage at Jump Festa 2026, scheduled for December 20th.
“World Trigger” is a sci-fi action story that follows the growth of Kuga Yuma, a visitor from another world known as a “Neighbor,” and Mikumo Osamu, a member of the border defense organization “Border,” which fights against the Neighbors’ invasions, as they come into contact with and fight the unknown.
The original manga began serialization in “Weekly Shonen Jump” in February 2013, and moved to “Jump SQ.” in December 2018. The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2014 to April 2016, the second season from January to April 2021, and the third season from October 2021 to January 2022.
