Amorepacific selected Blackpink’ Rosé’ as its global ambassador for its flagship brand, Sulwhasoo, and launched the brand campaign ‘Sulwhasoo Rebloom #SulwhasooRebloom.’
Sulwhasoo has selected Black Pink Rosé, a K-pop artist who continues to record unrivaled records as a group and solo as its new global ambassador. In addition to the contact point with the brand, we also considered the brand’s authenticity that the model could show.
Amorepacific explained, “We decided that Rosé’s enterprising spirit, who worked hard to become the artist she is today, is in line with Sulwhasoo’s pioneering spirit.”
This campaign delivers a message through two films with different expression techniques and methods. Each film contains the story of the brand’s inception and completion and provides customers with an opportunity to view the brand from a different perspective.
The first manifesto film, ‘FROM 1932 TO YOU,’ captures Sulwhasoo’s significant historical momentum and brand heritage. It shows Sulwhasoo’s unique journey with many women for a long time, from camellia oil made and sold by Yun Dok-Jeong, the mother of Seong-hwan Seo in Gaeseong, in 1932.
Jeong Ga-Yoon, head of Sulwhasoo’s Marketing Division, said, “This campaign aims to inherit the brand’s unique philosophy and heritage and communicate the brand’s newly established identity. I hope it will bloom like that.”
