On the 8th, Binance announced that it plans to sign a strategic partnership with YG and collaborate on various projects, including the NFT business. With this agreement, Binance will support the NFT platform and technology infrastructure, and YG will provide NFT content and game assets.
The two companies also plan to develop games based on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). It will build a metaverse space and provide unique experiences and services for fans as digital assets.
A Binance official said, “YG has world-famous K-Pop stars such as Big Bang, Black Pink, Winner, iKON, and Akdong Musician. There is considerable potential for development.”
YG CEO Hwang Bo-Kyung said, “As a K-pop leader, we plan to build an innovative and eco-friendly NFT ecosystem gradually.
