Group THE BOYZ’s Jacob and Kevin finished their MC activities for ‘Simply K-Pop.’

The Boyz’s Jacob and Kevin left the 501st episode of ‘Simply K-Pop,’ an Arirang TV music program that they had been MCs for about three years and eight months, on January 8th.

Jacob and Kevin, who have been active as MCs for ‘Simply K-Pop’ since 2018, have been active as ‘culture evangelists’ delivering K-pop to about 12.85 million viewers in 188 countries around the world for three years and eight months. In particular, the two of them acted as a signboard of the program, giving vivid vitality to the program every time with their witty talk and their fluent English proficiency, similar to those from Toronto and Vancouver, Canada, respectively.

After the last broadcast, Jacob said, “I think all the moments I’ve had for three years and eight months will be special experiences and memories for me. There are staff members who created a warm and comfortable atmosphere, so I think it was always fun filming.” He continued, “I will continue to watch the live broadcast of ‘Simply K-Pop.’ I am also grateful to the fans who supported me,” he said.

Kevin also said, “I remember the moment I took on the MC with an excited heart at the beginning of my debut. It was a valuable experience introducing K-pop and various artists to the world. Jacob Hyung, who was with us for 1303 days, and the crew who cared for us like family, worked hard. Please look forward to and support The Boyz in the future.”

Meanwhile, The Boyz appeared on the ’36th Golden Disc Awards’ held on the afternoon of the 8th and won the ‘Best Performance’ award, showing their unchanging potential by announcing their first award in 2022.
