National Cheering ‘K-Pop Concert’ postponed until 28/29

The Tokyo Olympics national cheering ‘K-pop concert’ [We All are One] has been postponed to the 28th (Sat) and 29th (Sun) of this month due to the upgrade of the 4th stage of the Coronavirus quarantine.

Red Angel CEO Park Jae-Hyeon, who is the organizer, said, “I accepted the advice of local governments and officials that we should do everything we can to ensure the safety of the on-site cheering squad and the cast of K-pop singers. “I’m sorry that I couldn’t keep my promise to the fans,” he said.

He explained, “Since this is a performance held three weeks after the closing of the Tokyo Olympics, rather than cheering to encourage propaganda, we plan to send a message to thank the athletes for their hard work for the Republic of Korea.”

Due to the postponement, there will be some changes to the lineup of K-pop singers. The final lineup revealed earlier is ‘BTOB’, ‘Yugyeom’, ‘ONF’, ‘MCND’, ‘Wow!’ There are 13 teams in total: ‘StayC’, ‘Monsta X’, ‘Oneus’, ‘CIX’, ‘Eunki Hong’, ‘Wei’, ‘Cravity’ and ‘Purple Kiss’.
