“Nintama Rantaro the Movie: Dokutake Ninja Corps’ Strongest Strategist” will be released nationwide on December 20, 2024. The character visuals of Yamada Denzo, the practical teacher of the first-year class of the Ninjutsu Academy, and his son Yamada Rikichi have been unveiled. Comments have also been received from Otsuka Akio and Okano Kosuke, who play the characters. Goods of Yamada Denzo and Yamada Rikichi will also be added to the ticket bundle bonus.
“Nintama Rantaro” is an anime based on the manga “Rantaro the Failed Ninja,” which began serialization in the Asahi Elementary School Newspaper in 1986 by Amako Soubei. The TV series has been broadcast since 1993 and continues to be loved by many generations. Set in the Warring States period, the film depicts the bright, fun, and enjoyable days of the ninja trainees, the “ninja trio” led by Rantaro, Kirimaru, and Shinbei, as they study at the Ninjutsu Academy. “Nintama Rantaro the Movie: Dokutake Ninja Corps Strongest Strategist” is a film adaptation of the trendy novel “Ninja Rantaro: Dokutake Ninja Corps Strongest Strategist.”
The story begins with Doi-sensei disappearing on his way to a duel with the Tasogaredoki ninja, Moroizumi Sonnamon, and a severe development awaits, different from the usual “Nintama.” Will the bond between Doi-sensei and the ninja trainees be enough to bring back the everyday life of “100% courage”? Character visuals of Yamada Denzo, a practical teacher for the first-year class of the Ninjutsu Academy, and his son, Yamada Rikichi, a famous freelance ninja, were unveiled for this film, drawn by character designer Niyama Emiko.
The illustrations show the charms of the Yamada family, with Yamada Denzo holding a ball and Yamada Rikichi fighting with a shuriken in his hand. Cast members Otsuka Akio, who plays Yamada Denzo, and Okano Kosuke, who plays Yamada Rikichi, also commented. It has also been revealed that the “@Loppi Exclusive Acrylic Deco Frame Movie Ticket Convenience Store Ticket” currently being sold at Lawson will have designs using the character visuals of the Yamada family.
The designs of the acrylic deco frames for each have been released. Reservations will start on August 30. Reservations will also begin on the same day for the acrylic deco frame Movie Ticket Convenience Store Ticket for the fifth and sixth graders so that you can pick up one with your favorite character. “Nintama Rantaro, the Movie: Dokutake Ninja Corps Strongest Strategist,” will be released nationwide on December 20.
‘Full comment below’ Otsuka Akio / Yamada Denzo It’s been 13 years since the last movie anime, so fans must have been waiting for it. I’m also pleased. It’s packed with elements you can’t see in the TV series… I’d like to know what kind of slapstick action it will be. (laughs) I hope you’ll see it at the theater. As I write this comment, we still need to finish recording. I’m going to have fun! Okano Kosuke / Yamada Rikichi This is Okano Kosuke, who plays Yamada Rikichi. Congratulations on the third movie adaptation of Nintama Rantaro in 13 years! I can’t help but look forward to it! However, the video that has been released has a severe and ominous atmosphere that is different from the usual Nintama Rantaro.
A significant incident involved Doi-sensei, who cared for Rikichi as a child and whom he regards as an older brother. What will happen!? What will they do?! <@Loppi exclusive> Reservation period for movie ticket convenience store voucher with goods: August 30 (Friday) 19:30 to September 30 (Monday) Place of sale: Loppi inside Lawson stores Goods content: Acrylic deco frame Additional lineup: Yamada Denzo, Yamada Rikichi “Nintama Rantaro the Movie: Dokutake Ninja Corps Strongest Strategist” Released in theaters on December 20 (Friday) Original work: “Rantaro the Failed Ninja” by Amako Soubei (Published by Asahi Shimbun Publications) TV anime series “Nintama Rantaro” “Novel: Failed Ninja Rantaro: Dokutake Ninja Corps Strongest Strategist” (Original story and illustrations: Amako Soubei / Novel: Sakaguchi Kazuhisa / Published by Asahi Shimbun Publications) Cast: Takayama Minami, Tanaka Mayumi, Ichiryusai Sadatomo, Seki Toshihiko Director: Masaya Fujimori Screenplay: Kazuhisa Sakaguchi Music: Koji Makaino Character Design: Emiko Niiyama Assistant Director: Hiroki Negishi Action Animation Director: Masayuki Sekine Art Director: Masaaki Kawaguchi Director of Photography: Kojiro Hayashi Color Design: Eriko Murata Editor: Masaki Sakamoto Sound Director: Akira Okuma Sound Effects: Masahiro Shoji Sound Production: AUDIO PLANNING U Animation Production: Asiado Distribution: Shochiku Production: Nintama Rantaro the Movie Production Committee (C) Sobei Amako / Nintama Rantaro the Movie Production Committee
