A-Fun Interactive (CEO Kwon Do-Kyun) announced that virtual K-pop artist APOKI will collaborate with Sony Music Solutions’ video platform service ‘stage crowd’ in Japan.

‘Stage Crowd’ is a video platform operated by Sony Music Solutions, a worldwide service that currently distributes more than 700 videos in 20 countries. Apoki has been well received by showing cute dances along with fluent Japanese pronunciation, such as appearing in the viewing environment test video provided to all users of ‘Stage Crowd’.

This year, Apoki continues to release Japanese singles, drawing attention from the global market including Japan. It is expanding its scope of activities by signing a contract with ‘The Orchard’, a global media distribution company, for global release. Sony Music Solutions evaluated Apokie’s potential as a global star and IP and concluded this collaboration project.

An official from Apun Interactive said, “As global interest in Apokie is growing, collaboration with global partners is expanding.

On the other hand, Apoki was ranked 5th in the ‘2021 Global VR (Virtual Reality) Influencers Top 100’ selected by K-Virtual Top 1 Artist selected by the US magazine Virtual Human last month and HTC Taiwan. This is the first place in Asia and the world’s number one among virtual humans. Apokie, which is receiving a lot of attention not only in Korea but also abroad, plans to continue various activities targeting the global market.
