At the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2024, Megan Thee Stallion presented as Bruno Bucciarati, a character from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 5.
Megan Thee Stallion gave the Anime of the Year award at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2024 on March 2, 2024.
She showed up appropriately attired, with a hairdo and outfit modeled like Bruno Bucciarati from Golden Wind, also known as Vento Aureo, the fifth installment of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
A selection of anime published between October 2022 and September 2023 was judged for the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2024. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean received multiple nominations the year before, but it did not receive any this year.
At 2:22:13 on the stream, Megan Thee Stallion takes the stage. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 was declared the winner of the award. It is fitting that Yuichi Nakamura, a Japanese voice actor, is the same guy who plays Bruno Bucciarati in Jujutsu Kaisen’s Satoru Gojo.
“Off the top, I’m picking people from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure because they got all the style and they be—just got all the swag, so I’mma pick Jotaro Kujo, and I’mma pick Bucciarati,” she said in response to the question of which characters she would choose as backup dancers.
