ABEMA will broadcast a special program, “I’ve Become a Teacher at a Yokai School! New Term & Second Season Start Special!” exclusively for free live from 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7th.

“I Became a Teacher at a Yokai School!” (abbreviated as “Yo-haji”) is an anime based on the popular manga by Mai Tanaka, currently serialized in “Monthly G Fantasy” (Square Enix). The story is a school comedy depicting the bizarre daily life of Abe no Seimei, a timid rookie teacher assigned to “Hyakki Gakuen,” a school for monsters only, and the monster students and teachers, whose personalities are jammed together.

The first TV anime will start airing in October 2024 with two consecutive seasons, and the fun and exciting story of the “strong” characters is gaining popularity.

In this unique program, which will be broadcast just before the start of the second season, cast members including Osaka Ryota (playing Abe no Seimei), Takano Akira (playing Nyudo Rensuke), Ayasaka Haruna (playing Utagawa Kuniko), and Yanagihara Tetsuya (playing the Little Old Man) will appear live.

They will review the story so far, discuss the highlights of the second season, and even hold a quiz. In addition, the uncredited OP and ED footage for the second season will be shown for the first time.

The anime series is available for streaming online every Tuesday at 11:30 p.m. Additionally, it will be broadcast free of charge on the “ABEMA Anime Channel,” and the latest episode will be available for free for one week after broadcast.
