A new anime adaptation of the legendary action manga “Fist of the North Star” by Buronson and Hara Tetsuo will be broadcast and streamed in 2026 as “Fist of the North Star.”
With new staff and cast, as well as the latest video technology, the anime will “fully recreate the charm of the original work.” In 2023, the production of a new anime was announced to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the original work, and the broadcast and streaming start dates were revealed.
The first key visual, depicting Kenshiro clenching his fist and snapping his fingers, was also released. It has also been decided that the anime will participate in “Anime Expo 2025”, which will be held in Los Angeles, USA, from July 3rd to 6th.
The teaser PV will be released for the first time, and the main cast will be announced at the event. “Fist of the North Star” will be participating in the Warner Bros. Industries panel (stage event) starting at 1 pm local time on July 5th (5 am on July 6th Japan time). Other notable titles that are scheduled to be introduced include “Record of Ragnarok III,” “ALL YOU NEED IS KILL,” “Steel Ball Run: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure,” and “Blade & Bastard.”
