The director is Hiro Kaburagi, known for the anime series “Kimi ni Todoke” and “GREAT PRETENDER,” and the production studio is CUE, led by Rui Kuroki, who produced “Kuroko’s Basketball.” Original author Fujimaki commented, “Thank you to all the readers who have supported me so far. The serialization is coming to an end, but I’m fortunate that it’s been adapted into an anime! The older man moves! You can hear the sound of people slurping ramen! The home economics club members talk!… I’m at a loss for words; I’m not sure if it’s fantastic.
The series will air next year, and the remaining comics will be released by then, so I’m considering doing something personally. I’m not sure if I should be impressed, but I hope you’ll continue to enjoy Killao, which I’m not sure is impressive or not, and look forward to the anime.” The anime “Killao” is set to begin airing in 2026.
