by The TV anime “Acro Trip,” based on Sawada Yone’s original work, will begin airing on TOKYO MX, BS Nippon TV, and AT-X on October 2. The synopsis and scene cuts for the first episode, additional cast members, and the second set of new key visuals have also been released simultaneously.
Episode 1, “The Beginning Encounter,” begins with the protagonist, Date Chizuko, a first-year junior high school student, being left in the care of her grandfather due to her parents’ circumstances. Although Chizuko has a cold personality, she meets the mysterious magical girl Berry Blossom and is completely captivated by her.
However, Fossa Magna, the evil organization that opposes the magical girls, could be more impressive, and Chizuko becomes increasingly frustrated. Additional cast members include Koyasu Takehito as Fossa Magna member Hugh, Soma Koichi as Chizuko’s grandfather Date Suikyou, and Kameyama Yuji as the mysterious bear monster created by Chroma.
The second critical visual features Berry Blossom Noichigo Kasumi, Chizuko, the magical girl mascot Mashirou, the leader of Fossa Magna Kuroma, Omizo Barataka, the president of a famous local company, Kokoa, a rich girl who is interested in Chizuko and her friends’ magical powers, Kokoa’s aide Tsuki, and the bear monster. A live broadcast program will be held on the YouTube “Happinet Phantom” channel from 8:00 p.m. on September 8 to commemorate the start of the anime’s broadcast.
The program will feature Ito Miku, who plays Chizuko; Shimazaki Nobunaga, who plays Kuroma; Minase Inori, who plays Berry Blossom Noichigo Kasumi, and Kawanishi Kengo, who plays Mashirou, and they will talk. The anime’s official X account currently accepts messages and questions from the cast. In addition, it was revealed that a short anime called “Acro Trip Mini Theater” will be distributed ahead of the anime’s broadcast on the anime’s official X account, TikTok, and the YouTube “Happinet Phantom [Anime Official]” channel. The short anime will feature an original scenario depicting fun interactions and episodes between Chizuko, Kuroma, Berry, and Mashiro.
