“Anime Supremacy! Animation in progress. Towkay video “Soundback Playing Stone.”
Robot animation “Soundback Kanade no Ishi,” which is good at Towkay videos. We interviewed Yuki Kaji, Megumi Han, and Sei Hayami, who are in charge of the characters’ voices.
STORY
One day, a peaceful country town was attacked by a giant robot. Towako, Takaya, and Ryuichi learn that the stone called “Kanade” stored in the shrine becomes a robot by sucking in the sound of reality. Riding on the robot sound back, boys and girls protect the earth.
CHARACTER
Ryuichi: 5th grade. Soundbank pilot. He moved out of the city when he was in the third grade.
Towako: The eldest daughter of three sisters at a shrine that enshrines the stone of Kanade. She is a fifth-grader. She can operate the sound back monitor.
Takaya: 5th grade. Soundbank pilot. A hot-blooded man who specializes in sports in general.
Mayu: Towako’s younger sister in the first grade of elementary school. She is the youngest of the three sisters of the Sou Shrine and is a young but solid person.
Kanou no Ishi: A stone that sucks sound and creates a robot that sits at Sono Shrine. It transforms and becomes a sound back.
Yuki Kaji as Ryuichi
I think it would not be easy to make a movie with work-themed works, especially genres such as animation production and voice actors, as entertainment without considerable research. However, this work was genuine, at least when it came to the expression of the dubbing scene that I know. It’s not something I can say, but I felt that the atmosphere created by the artisans at the animation production site was a perfect example. Once again, it made me think that animation was born for the first time with the efforts, time, love, and enthusiasm of so many people involved in the work. I felt the weight of being able to participate as a voice actor. The scene where producer Yukishiro refused to write his name by animator Namizawa and said, “Please give me a name,” was paralyzed. I’m grateful that people say, “I want to see this person because I’m involved,” but on the other hand, I sometimes struggled with whether I was looking for my play or a name (added value). But. for whatever reason, it’s essential to have a chance to see and know, and I feel that if you have an excellent play, you’ll be able to say that it was good, so this word from Mr. Yukishiro is because I am now. I also felt that it was something I could understand.
I heard that I decided to become a voice actor because “the job of a voice actor is a profession that helps me as much as I do my best.” Until then, I was a kid who had too many dreams to change his plans (laughs). Every time I had a new vision, I felt like I had wasted my efforts. But when I learned that word, I thought, “Voice actors are the perfect profession for me because I can’t control my curiosity.” When I was a newcomer, I didn’t want to fail, so I was desperate to get a passing score according to the textbook. But that has changed since I played a scene where the main character was groaning in a specific starring work. He appreciated the expression, which is indescribable whether he cries or shouts. Sometimes, it’s better to be distorted or blurred than say it neatly. That’s a human being. At that time, I learned that even if you make a mistake, dubbing has the fun of aiming for 100 points or more. Mr. Masafumi Mima, the sound director who brought out the performance, is a “teacher” to me.
Yuki Kaji Born September 3, 1985, from Tokyo. She has been active as a voice actor since 2004. He has appeared in many works, such as the role of Eren Yeager in the anime “Attack on Titan,” the role of Shoto Todoroki in “My Hero Academia,” and the role of “Teasing Master Takagi-san” Nishikata.
Megumi Han as Takaya
I was impressed by the line “Stabbed in someone’s chest,” directed by Hitomi Saito. Our voice actors spend only a few hours on the work, but I realized how much time again and thought the director and other production staff are spending on manufacturing. When I was introduced at the event, I introduced myself as “Megumi Han of the role,” but when I saw the production process, I felt that I was playing this role with everyone involved in the work. See you.
Director Saito was the one who most sympathized with the characters. He got a job once, but he couldn’t give up his dream and changed jobs, and it’s fantastic to become an anime director finally. I also sympathized with the courageous choices I made for what I wanted to do and the stubbornness in a good way that no one would give up on my work. I’m also stubborn, and I hate to lose, so I’m very emotional with her (laughs).
Just as Saito chose to be an anime director, I think voice actors are an excellent job that can help someone and bring them to their hearts. They are pushing the back of a worried person or being reminded when standing at a crossroads in life. Even if the broadcast time is only 30 minutes, that 30 minutes may remain in the viewer’s life. It’s so precious and dear to be involved in someone’s life, even a little.
I decided to become a voice actor because I read “HUNTER x HUNTER” at my best friend’s house when I was in elementary school. I hadn’t touched shounen manga until then, but when I started reading it, I was utterly addicted to it, and when the anime started, I was crazy about it. In the issue where the first episode was published in “Weekly Shonen Jump,” the cover was goo punched by the main character Gon. So I never thought I would play Gon. You don’t know what life works and how it works. I’m grateful that the work has saved me many times and made my dreams true.
I think there are dreams beyond the ones that make them come true. For example, Director Saito did his best to become a civil servant, but when he changed jobs, his talent as an anime director blossomed, and he went on another path. Dreams change like that, and I feel like I’m doing this job because this place where I am now is not the only endpoint.
Han Megumi Born June 3, 1989, from Tokyo. She made her debut as a voice actor in earnest in 2011 as Gon Freecss in the anime “HUNTER x HUNTER .”She has appeared in many works such as “Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN” as Sayla Mass and “ULTRAMAN” as Hokuto Seiji.
Hayami Shou as Kanade no Ishi
This time, I was a little excited to make his silver screen debut rather than playing the role of stone. I’ve been a voice actor for 42 years now, but even in a close industry, there are still things I don’t know. In the past, new voice actors sometimes worked part-time to color cels and sometimes received cels when the work was finished. So I learned about animators’ work, but I didn’t know what kind of work the directors and producers did, so I realized again that various people are involved. Felt. During the work, the line that everyone in this industry is kind of is coming out, but so is our ambition. It’s a world that wouldn’t be possible if we collided with each other, so I thought it was similar to the anime industry in that I was paying attention to each other while feeling what I was looking for.
I became a voice actor for the prize money (laughs). When I quit the theater company, I got a grand Prix in a voice actor contest that I happened to see and started working as a voice actor. The first thing I was most confused about was “ma .”You have to speak according to the movements depicted in the picture, and you also have to act. I found this difficult because of the many restrictions. Finally, in the 1987 OVA “Devilman,” I realized that the dialogue is not just about making a beautiful sound but about cutting out the body. To match your performance with the video, you need more power and determination than you think. And it doesn’t make sense if only your voice is good. To live in work is to have a session with everyone. Creating one scene by crossing lines with everyone is essential in my job as a voice actor.
I rarely cry, but when I see “The Grave of the Firefly,” I cry. It’s best to have such emotions, especially for voice actors who have to express their feelings in a short amount of time. Therefore, there is nothing in vain in a voice actor’s job. I was addicted to manga and games, and in my case, I was reading, but I’m sure there will be times when such input will be helpful. Voice actors need to have various experiences and try anything.
Hayami Sho was Born on August 2nd, in Hyogo prefecture. She started acting as a voice actor in 1980, and until now, she has played the role of Exkaiser in the TV anime “Brave Exkaiser” and the role of Magic General in “Nangoku Shonen Papuwa-Kun.” I also tried rap in “Hypnosismic.”
