The well-known manga series “Attack on Titan” will get a Hollywood real to life movie adjustment by Andy Muschietti, who coordinated the blood and gore flick “It,” distributer Kodansha Ltd. said on Tuesday.
“Harry Potter” maker David Heyman will create the Warner Bros. Diversion Inc. movie alongside Masi Oka, known for his job in “Saints,” and the chief’s sister Barbara Muschietti.
“I have consistently fantasized that one day my own manga would be acknowledged and recognized far and wide,” the series’ creator Hajime Isayama said in an announcement. “Now that this has come true, I feel utterly fortunate and can’t be happier about it.”

The manga arrangement, known as “Shingeki no Kyojin” in Japanese, rotates around its hero Eren and his fight against mammoth animals known as Titans that have overwhelmed the world.
