Studio Ghibli Officially Announces its Newest Film, ‘Aya to Majo’

The wait is nearly over, Studio Ghibli fans, because Hayao Miyazaki has officially announced his newest film that’s scheduled to premiere later this year!

Titled “Aya to Majo” (“Aya and The Witch”), the up and coming element film will be founded on the novel “Earwig and the Witch” written by Diana Wynne Jones, who likewise wrote the novel that darling film “Howl’s Moving Castle” depended on.

The story follows a vagrant young lady named Aya who is embraced by a witch one day and gets back home to a creepy house loaded up with secret and enchantment. It will be coordinated by Miyazaki’s child, Goro Miyazaki, and created by Toshio Suzuki.

In an announcement, Suzuki communicated his worry over debuting a film in this “New Normal” world. “I thought that a number of times while watching the rushes,” he said. “Then I realized that one stand-out feature of the film is Aya’s cleverness. And if you are clever, you can survive in any period of history. Thinking that, I felt relieved.”

“Aya to Majo” is planned for discharge on NHK this winter 2020. It’s likewise going to be Studio Ghibli’s first 3D3G animated film.
