Four first looks from Part 2 of the anime “BEASTARS FINAL SEASON” have been released, hinting at a shocking climax. This work is an “animal version of a coming-of-age human drama” set in a world where carnivores and herbivores coexist. It follows the troubled young gray wolf Legoshi (voiced by Kobayashi Chikahiro ) as he grows up while struggling with the differences between his species.
Final Season Part 2 is currently in production, with an exclusive worldwide release date of 2026. The final season has depicted Legoshi leaving school for a specific reason and venturing out into society to start a new life.
The first look for Part 2 features Legoshi with a dignified expression, as well as Legoshi’s first love, Haru (voiced by Senbongi Ayaka ); Rui (voiced by Ono Yuki ), a senior who always seems to care about Legoshi; Juno (voiced by Tanezaki Atsumi), a junior in the drama club who once had feelings for Legoshi and now has feelings for Rui; Pina (voiced by Kaji Yuki), a popular boy who also happens to be a junior in the drama club and often “loosely” flirts with Legoshi; and Melon (voiced by Okino Koji ), a dangerous criminal from the underworld who is closing in on Legoshi and his friends.
Everyone looks serious, hinting at a shocking climax leading up to the finale. Why are Juno and Pina in such a tense mood? What’s next for the awkward-looking Rui and the flustered Legoshi? And then there’s Haru and Melon in the same room. In Part 2 of the final season, where one mystery after another leads to another, the conflict between Legoshi and Melon gradually intensifies, but what awaits them at the end of this deadly battle? Matsumi Shinichi, who has served as director since the first season of the anime, commented, “The confrontation between Legoshi and Melon, Louis’ resolve, and Haru’s unwavering feelings.
Fangs and horns clash, and friendship, love, and pride are put to the test in this tumultuous climax. What does it mean to transcend species? Is love a strength or a weakness? This work’s finale is not only their story, but also a question for the world we live in. Please watch until the end.”
The conclusion of this wildly popular “animal youth ensemble drama” featuring young beasts confronting their instincts is fast approaching. Part 2 of the anime “BEASTARS FINAL SEASON” will be available exclusively on Netflix in 2026.
