It has been announced that the large-scale “BLEACH” event, “BLEACH THE DEATHBERRY,” will be held from June 13, 2025, in the Ikebukuro area. Various events, such as exhibitions, attractions, and food and beverage collaborations, will be held.

“BLEACH” is a sword-fighting action comic serialized by Kubo Tite in “Weekly Shonen Jump,” with a total circulation of over 130 million copies, and it is still popular worldwide even after the series has ended. The TV anime series, which began broadcasting in October 2004, has produced over 360 episodes, and there have been four feature-length anime films. Pierrot’s new brand “PIERROT FILMS,” which aims to deliver high-quality animation, is in charge of production, and the fourth season of the final chapter, “The Thousand-Year Blood War Arc,” “BLEACH: The Thousand-Year Blood War Arc – Kajintan-,” is currently scheduled to be broadcast. “BLEACH THE DEATHBERRY,” which has been decided to be held this time, is a large-scale event that will paint Ikebukuro with this work.

First, “BLEACH THE LOCUS OF BRAVE II” will be held from June 13 to July 13 at various places in Sunshine City, including the Sunshine 60 Observatory and Tenbo Park. This event features original goods and exhibits using various illustrations, including Kubo Tite’s latest drawings. In addition, the experiential event “BLEACH WORLD,” where you can enjoy the world of “BLEACH,” will be held from June 13 to July 27 at the experiential retail facility “Bandai Namco Cross Store Tokyo” in Ikebukuro.

In addition to the attraction “Gotei 13 Enlistment Proceedings,” where you take a test to become a new member of the Gotei 13, there will be three mini-games with original prizes, such as “Bankai! Unleash your Zanpakuto, “MATCH! After the Tokyo event, it will be held in Osaka, Fukuoka, and Yokohama.

There will also be a collaboration with the delicious “GiGO Taiyaki” from June 13 to July 21. You can eat cute taiyaki with Ichigo and Kon, which come with a random limited edition novelty item. It will be sold at three stores nationwide, including GiGO’s Taiyaki Main Store in Ikebukuro. Drinks with the same novelty item will also be sold at GiGO stores nationwide.

The “BLEACH MONOCOLOR POP UP SHOP,” which sells goods using the chic and cute deformed illustration “MONOCOLOR,” will also be held at Ikebukuro Parco from June 26 to July 9. A lottery with original goods will also be held at the venue. Animate Ikebukuro’s main store will have a club event themed on “BLEACH” at “and night,” a new entertainment space that combines various works and music. You can enjoy an all-genre space where you can deeply experience the work, set on a different night at Animate than usual. Detailed dates will be announced at a later date.
