A collaboration between the anime ” Tokyo Ghoul ” and “Dead by Daylight” has been announced. The main character, Kaneki Ken, will appear as a new killer.
“Tokyo Ghoul” is an anime series based on the popular manga by Ishida Sui, which has sold over 47 million copies worldwide. Set in a world where man-eating monsters called “ghouls” exist, the story follows the protagonist, Kaneki Ken, who becomes half-ghoul after an accident as he gets caught up in a battle between humans and ghouls.
The story’s delicate depiction of Kaneki’s struggle as a half-ghoul and the human drama of the characters living in a dark world gained popularity. The TV anime aired for four seasons and was made into two live-action films, making it a huge hit.
Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer horror game in which players battle each other online in four-on-one asymmetrical battles. The collaboration will see Kaneki Ken, the protagonist of the anime Tokyo Ghoul, appear as a new killer known as “The Ghoul.”
Kaneki uses “The Ghoul’s Kagune Tentacles,” a unique ability that allows him to move quickly around the map using the tentacles that emerge from his back. In addition, if he succeeds in an attack, he will activate “Enraged Mode,” which will dramatically increase the ghoul’s strength, ferocity, and speed, bringing even more fear to the survivors.
The PTB (Public Test Build) for the collaboration chapter “Dead by Daylight | Tokyo Ghoul” will be available on Steam for a limited time from 0:00 AM on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
The “Tokyo Ghoul Collection,” released on April 3, will include a legendary outfit by Kamishiro Rize for Kaneki and masks designed for the Unknown, Jonah Vasquez, Jake Park, and David King.
