The anime “ARIA” series is based on Kozue Amano’s futuristic healing, with the first TV anime “ARIA The ANIMATION” in 2005, the second TV anime “ARIA The NATURAL” in 2006, and the OVA “ARIA” in 2007. “The OVA ~ ARIETTA ~,” the third season of TV animation “ARIA The ORIGINATION” in 2008, the utterly new animation “ARIA The AVVENIRE” in 2015, and the utterly new movie “ARIA The AVVENIRE,” which is the 15th anniversary of the start of TV animation broadcasting in the spring of 2021. “ARIA The CREPUSCOLO” is developed.
Furthermore, on December 3, 2021, the final chapter of the 15th-anniversary work “Ao no Curtain Call” “ARIA The BENEDIZIONE” will be released.
At the entrance of the venue of this exhibition, you will be greeted by a key visual of the event drawn by the main characters dressed up.
The first thing that jumps into your eyes is the original corner, where beautiful illustrations drawn by Amano are lined up. It is a zone where you can look back on the history of “ARIA” with special episodes of the original comic and cover pictures of famous scenes.
Next to the original corner, TV series exhibitions are lined up. A lot of valuable materials such as production memos that convey the enthusiasm at the time of the project launch by Director Sato, manuscripts used in the cast audition, famous lines and scene photos, dubbing scripts actually used, original copyright drawings of DVD jackets, etc. I think many fans get excited about it.
The following exhibitions are the first chapter “ARIA The AVVENIRE” and the second chapter “ARIA The CREPUSCOLO” of the utterly new animation “Ao no Curtain Call.”
Here, you can enjoy the cover picture of the pamphlet, the original concept of the main story, the character setting view and the original picture board, and the image picture and rough of the main visual by Yoko Ito. She was the character design and animation director.
In addition, this time, based on the setting materials of the animation, we also produced a miniature that faithfully reproduced the building of “ARIA Company” for the first time.
Director Sato, who experienced these exhibitions a little earlier, commented, “I was surprised at the luxury beyond expectations! It makes me feel nostalgic because the history of ARIA is exhibited as it is.”
“ARIA The MEMORIA ~ Neo Venice International Film Festival ~” will be held from August 26 to September 12 at the event space on the 7th floor of Marui City Yokohama. The entrance fee is 1,100 yen. As an admission privilege, one was randomly presented from the coaster.
