“Dr.STONE” is a “craft adventure story” based on the manga serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” by Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi. It depicts the story of modern high school student Senku Ishigami and his friends who use science to confront the stone world where civilization has been destroyed.
The original work won second place in the “Next Manga Award 2018” comics category and the “Shogakukan Manga Award” in the boys’ category. The first season of the TV anime will air in July 2019, and the second season will air in January 2021. The TV special “Dr.STONE Ryusui” will also air in July 2022, and the third season will start airing in April 2023.
The fourth and final season of Dr. Stone Science Future was produced in three separate seasons and began on January 9, 2025. Ishigami Senku, Asagiri Gen, Nanami Ryusui, Chrome, and Saionji Ukyo appeared on the online lottery service Marukuji in costumes reminiscent of the Taisho era. Five prizes are available: Super Daikichi, Daikichi, Good, Medium Good, and Small Good.
