‘Dusk Beyond the End of the World’ PAWORKS’ original anime prologue ‘episode 0’ cut released Love with my roommate Comical adaptation also available

A cut from episode 0, “Count One, Two, With Morning in Your Heart,” which serves as the prologue to the original TV anime Dusk Beyond the End of the World, produced by PAWORKS, the animation production company behind “true tears” and “SHIROBAKO,” has been released.

The work is a full-scale love story set in a future world where AI technology has developed, and the released cut depicts the protagonist Himegami Akira. This high school boy lost his parents at a young age and was raised by his father’s best friend and his roommate, Omaki Towasa, whom he has a crush on.

In episode 0, Towasa and Akira, who are aware of each other as the opposite sex, decide to take a step forward. Episode 0 will be broadcast on the late-night anime slot “Super Animeism TURBO” on MBS/TBS on September 25th. Episode 1 will be broadcast in the same slot on October 2nd.

It was also announced that a comic adaptation of the work will begin serialization on Kodansha’s online manga service, Magapoke, on October 3rd. Hajime Hamada will be in charge of the manga.
 
“Dusk Beyond the End of the World” is a full-fledged love story set in a futuristic world where AI technology has advanced significantly. The protagonist, Himegami Akira, who has pledged his love to his beloved, Ou Maki Towasa, wakes up from years of cold sleep to find a city devastated by war. An android named Yugure, who bears a striking resemblance to Towasa, appears before Akira, and they decide to travel together.
